Chris Nelson has extensive work experience in the field of instrumentation and electrical engineering. Chris is currently working as an Assistant I/E Engineer at Venator Materials Plc since 2022.
Prior to this, Chris worked at Petrofac for a duration of 9 years from 2013 to 2022. Prior to their apprenticeship, Chris worked as an Instrument Technician (I/E Tech) at Lucite International from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they gained experience in calibrations, trip testing, routine maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding, cubicle entry training, and permit to work issuing.

Chris Nelson began their education at Stokesley School in 2002 and completed their studies there in 2007. Following the completion of high school, they attended Redcar and Cleveland College from 2007 to 2009, obtaining a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Instrumentation and Control. From 2007 to 2011, they also studied at TTE, where they earned an NVQ Level 3 in Instruments and Control. Finally, from 2009 to 2011, Chris attended Teesside University, where they obtained an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Instrumentation and Control.
