Mark Payne

Mark Payne has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Mark is currently working as an IT Operations Engineer at Venator Materials Plc since April 2020. Prior to that, Mark was an IT Consultant and Owner at Holmbeck Ltd from December 2014 to April 2022.

Mark has also worked as a Deployment Specialist at Frontica Business Solutions in September 2014 and at Aker Solutions from February 2013 to September 2014, where they were responsible for creating and maintaining software deployment standards and handling large-scale global deployments.

Before that, Mark worked as an IT Consultant and Owner at Holmbeck Ltd from July 1995 to October 2013. Mark has held various roles including SCCM Architect at Huntsman from July 2005 to February 2013, Head of Support Services at Bondgate IT from March 2002 to June 2005, and Senior Infrastructure Specialist at Equinox Business Partners from January 2001 to March 2002. Mark also worked as Desktop and Server Support at Northern Rock from June 2000 to December 2001 and as an IT Engineer at Huntsman Tioxide from January 2000 to June 2000.

Mark Payne attended Teesside University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Novell CNA certificate in March 1995, followed by the Novell CNE 3 and 4 certificates in October 1995. In January 1999, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification, and in May 1999, they earned the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows NT 4) (MSCE) and Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet (MCP+I) certifications. Mark also obtained the Novell CNE 5 certificate in August 2000. Lastly, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification in May 2009 and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN in October 2013.
