David Ward

David Ward has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry spanning over several decades. David began their career in 1987 at Rockwell Space Operations Company as an Engineer, providing support in the areas of Payload to Orbiter software interface definition, testing, and verification. In 1990, they joined McDonnell Douglas Space & Defense Systems as a Senior Engineer, where they were responsible for technical support on Orbiter flight software and avionics related to payload ground and flight operations. David then moved to Boeing Company in 1997 as an Engineer/Scientist 4, performing duties as a Command & Data Handling engineer for various International Space Station flights.

David Ward joined United Launch Alliance/Boeing Company in 2002, where they worked as a Test & Evaluation Engineer 4 for the Delta II/IV program. Their responsibilities included test, troubleshooting, and qualification of Ground Support Equipment and avionics systems. Finally, they joined Vencore Inc. in 2009 as an Electrical Design Engineer IV, serving as the Lead Design Engineer for the Engineering Service Contract related to specific Task Orders. In this role, they reviewed and evaluated Electrical Ground Support Equipment subsystems design, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

David Ward attended the University of Houston from 1980 to 1987, where they achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.
