Mark Lugar has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Mark started their career at NCR Corporation in 1983 as a Product Specialist, supporting product management and winning national sales awards. Mark then moved on to Digital Techniques in 1986, where they served as the National Sales Manager, responsible for developing sales programs and product packaging. In 1988, they joined Applied Learning as a Major Account Representative, handling the sales and account management for the Northwest Airlines account.
In 1989, Mark joined MCI Corporation as a Major Account Representative and later became an Executive Account Manager. Mark was responsible for managing a sales team, customer service representatives, and technical consultants. Mark implemented a sales management tool and designed a system for identifying prospective customers. Mark then moved to MCI Communications in 1991 as a Manager for Field Compensation, reviewing sales commissions and implementing audit procedures.
In 1992, Mark returned to MCI Corporation as a Manager for Audit, Reporting, and Analysis for National Accounts. Mark was responsible for audit and reporting of sales commissions and developed procedures for commission expense adjustments. In 1994, they took on the role of Manager for Segment Reporting andMultinational Accounts, modeling and evaluating sales commission projections and developing audit and reconciliation procedures.
From 1994 to 2002, Mark worked at WorldCom in various roles. Mark served as a Manager of Investor Relations, responsible for managing earnings expectations and developing financial messages. Mark also worked as a Senior Manager for Lead Negotiator, managing the negotiation process and regulatory and legal groups. Additionally, they were a Senior Project Manager, overseeing system enhancements and cost reduction projects, resulting in significant savings for the company.
In 2002, Mark joined Lockheed Martin as a Senior Systems Analyst and Staff SE/IS, where they worked until 2011. Mark then moved to The SI Organization, Inc. as a Senior Principal Engineer until 2014. Finally, they joined Vencore Inc. in 2014 as a Principal Systems Engineer. Overall, Mark Lugar has a strong background in systems engineering, project management, negotiation, and sales.
Mark Lugar attended Ball State University - Miller College of Business from 1977 to 1981. Mark obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General during this time.
