Matt Chando

Matt Chando has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Matt started their career in 1998 as an Accountant at RTI International, where they coordinated financing and analysis for foreign projects and managed cash balances and funding requests. Matt also supervised staff and collaborated with IT and contracts staff to implement a new accounting system.

After leaving RTI International in 2006, Matt worked at the State of North Carolina - DHHS as an Accountant / Cashier, where they performed cash application and analysis, processed payments, and prepared management reports.

In 2009, they joined QINETIQ-NA as a Billing / Project Accountant and managed and billed complex government contracts. Matt also participated in project reviews, performed revenue recognition and reporting, and ensured accurate billing and collections.

Since 2011, Matt has been working at Vencore Inc. as a Financial / Compliance Analyst. In this role, they coordinate budgeting and forecasting, tracks and analyzes expense reports, and develops P&L reports. Matt also performs cost benefit analysis and assists with accounting tasks such as reconciliations.

Overall, Matt Chando has demonstrated strong financial and accounting skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with teams and optimize processes.

Matt Chando completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting at the George Mason University - School of Business. Matt then pursued a Masters degree in International Business Transactions at the same institution. Following this, they went on to obtain a Post Masters Certificate in Financial Management - CTP at UNC at Greensboro, focusing on Business Administration, Management, and Operations.
