Daniel Parker

Daniel Parker has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Daniel'smost recent position was as a Full Stack Engineer at Vendia, which they started in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GitLab Inc. as a Senior Integrations Engineer in the Business Technology department from July 2020 to July 2022. Daniel also has experience as a Software Developer at Care Continuity from September 2019 to July 2020.

In addition to their professional roles, Daniel co-founded the Quito Cloud Computing Meetup in November 2018, where they and their wife organized events for tech professionals to learn and share their knowledge about cloud computing. This role lasted until March 2020.

Daniel Parker completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Software Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology in the years 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Christian College Geelong from 1998 to 2010, where they obtained their Victorian Certificate of Education with a focus on Music, English, Physics, Maths Methods, and Further studies. In addition to their formal education, Daniel Parker also obtained certifications in Crucial Conversations from VitalSmarts in August 2021 and a Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) (Honors) from Swinburne University of Technology in December 2017.
