Alecssander Simões

Alecssander Simões is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in analytics, data engineering, and data science. Currently serving as a Data Specialist at Vendoo since September 2022, Alecssander was the first member of the data team, responsible for constructing data structures and processes. Previously, as an Analytics Engineering Manager at Zak from September 2020 to August 2022, Alecssander oversaw the Analytics team and the development of data transformation pipelines and dashboards, while also analyzing client revenue and platform-specific metrics. Alecssander's experience includes a role as a Data Scientist - Project Leader at IBM, where contributions were made to environmental impact projects in the mining sector through the creation of machine learning models and data visualization. Educational credentials include a Postgraduate degree in Data Science and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, complemented by practical training in various data science tools and methodologies.
