Lee Barnard is the EVP and Chief Legal Officer at Venerable, where they oversee legal matters and corporate governance. Previously, Lee held various legal positions at FS Investments from 2014 to 2020, including Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel. Prior to that, they served as an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton and Kirkland & Ellis LLP from 2010 to 2014. Lee earned their J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a B.A. in Chemistry from Emory University.
