David Chartier has over 30 years of work experience. David most recently served as the Head of Financial Strategy at Venerable since July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Voya Financial for 18 years as the Head of Strategic Analysis. David also held the position of Vice President of Financial Analysis at Citigroup for over a decade. Additionally, they have experience as a Technical Consultant at The Hay Group, an Industrial Engineer at International Paper, a Methods Analyst at Blue Cross of Greater Philadelphia, and a Settlement Clerk at Mellon Bank.

David Chartier attended Drexel University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Engineering with a focus on Finance. Following this, from 1991 to 1994, they pursued their Masters of Business Administration at Widener University, specializing in Finance and International Business.
