Bas Schoemaker has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Bas started their career as a Bijrijder at Vegro Verpleegartikelen in 2013. Bas then worked as a Content Marketeer at Ditverzinjeniet.nl from 2011 to 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Chauffeur at Easy Way b.v. from 2015 to 2017.
In 2014, Bas Schoemaker pursued a degree in Small Business and Retail Management at Chr. Hogeschool Windesheim, where they graduated in 2018. In the same year, they worked as an Afstudeerstagiair at Diogenes Reizen.

From 2018 to 2020, Bas Schoemaker served as a Marketing Manager at Effeweg.nl. In this role, they were responsible for all marketing activities for Effeweg.nl, Effeweg.nl Groepsreizen, and Van Nood Reizen. Prior to that, they worked as an Online Marketeer and Stagiair marketing at Effeweg.nl.
In 2020, Bas Schoemaker joined Bureau Strak as an SEO & CRO Marketeer. Bas managed SEO and CRO projects and collaborated with clients, web developers, and stakeholders for successful outcomes. During this time, they also interacted extensively with clients in their offices or at Bureau Strak to better understand their needs and goals.
In 2022, Bas Schoemaker became the Eigenaar of ComfortTuin, a webshop catering to the higher-end market for outdoor products. Bas focused on establishing sustainable relationships with partners in the B2C and B2B sectors.
Currently, Bas Schoemaker works as a CRO Specialist at Veneta.com starting from 2023, where they apply their expertise in conversion rate optimization.
Bas Schoemaker attended Windesheim from 2014 to 2018, where they studied Retail Management and Small Business and Retail Management. Before that, from 2008 to 2014, they attended Meander College, where they obtained their VWO degree in Economics and Society. In addition to their formal education, Bas obtained various certifications, including a Certificate in Customer Journey, a Certificate in Performance Based Marketing, a Certificate in e-Commerce Laws and Regulations, and the e-Academy Graduate certification from Thuiswinkel.org. Bas also completed the Digital Workplace program from Google and obtained their VWO diploma in 2014.
