Marta Borges

Marta Borges is the Head of Finance at Veniam. Marta has over seven years of experience in finance and accounting, having previously worked as a Finance Controller for Europe Subsidiaries at Wipro Limited from September 2012 to April 2019. In this role, they were responsible for managing several European subsidiaries from a finance and compliance perspective, ensuring integrity of financial reporting, compliance with policies and regulations, profitability, cost and cash flow management.

Marta is a highly skilled and experienced finance professional, with a proven track record in financial reporting, profitability analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Marta is also experienced in investigating and reporting on any identified control weaknesses or control failures, and recommending and implementing control improvements necessary to the financial reporting process.

Marta is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is always looking for ways to improve their knowledge and skills. Marta is a strong team player who is always willing to lend a helping hand to their colleagues.

Marta Borges holds a GMDB from ISDI in the field of Digital Business. Marta also holds a degree in Accounting and Administration from Universidade da Maia - Ismai. Additionally, they have a bachelorship in Accounting and Administration from Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto. Finally, they are certified by the Corporate Finance Institute in Business Valuation Modeling Part I.

They are on a team with Robin Chase - Founder, Rui Costa - CTO, and Oliver Riekenbrauk - Head of BD, EMEA. Their manager is João Barros, Founder & CEO.
