Jorge Sivil

Jorge Sivil has over 10 years of professional work experience in the software engineering and development industry. In 2009, they began their career as an IT Support at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel. Jorge then worked as an IT Support Specialist at Global Mind 360° Interactive Agency from 2010 to 2012. After that, they worked as a Developer - Tech Support Specialist at Canal Directo Soluciones de Impresion S.A. from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Sr. PHP/Drupal 7-8 Developer at Boehringer Ingelheim, where they were responsible for backend development with PHP 5.6/7 and Symfony 3-4 components, as well as Drupal 7-8 custom modules. In 2019, they became a Sr. Software Engineer at Appetize, where they were responsible for payments and loyalty systems integrations, including direct payment, loaded value, stored value, loyalty points, discounts, rewards, etc. Jorge then moved to Ranker in 2020, where they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer, doing front end development with Vanilla JS, CSS, React, and JSP, as well as React functional components and performance optimizations. Currently, they are a Sr. Software Engineer at Venngage.

Jorge Sivil completed their Licenciatura en Sistemas at Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned an Ingeniero en Informática degree from UADE from 2011 to 2013, with a field of study in Informática.
