Bryan Ngo

Materials Engineering Manager at VenoStent, Inc.

Bryan Ngo has extensive work experience in the field of materials engineering and research. Bryan is currently serving as the Materials Engineering Manager at VenoStent, Inc. since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Materials Engineer at the same company from February 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining VenoStent, Inc., Bryan worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University from August 2020 to January 2021. During their time there, they focused on synthesizing novel functional polymers for drug delivery nanosystems and studying the effects of polymer properties and ligands on nanoparticle protein corona formation.

Bryan also has experience as a PATHS-UP Fellow at Texas A&M University, where they worked from December 2017 to May 2020. As a part of the Engineering Research Center, their work involved developing microfluidic material platforms for lab-on-chip biomarker detection devices. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Assistant during their time at Texas A&M University.

Prior to joining Texas A&M University, Bryan worked as a Research Associate I at Gilead Sciences, where they managed pre-formulation development for multiple research projects. Bryan also gained experience as an Associate Scientist at Novartis, where they supported the development of a monobactam anti-infection drug and assessed its physicochemical properties.

Bryan's earlier work experience includes serving as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley and a Research Assistant at Abbott Diabetes Care. Overall, their experience encompasses materials engineering, drug delivery research, and pharmaceutical development.

Bryan Ngo completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences & Toxicology: Physiology & Metabolism at the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University from 2015 to 2020.
