John Bernard

John Bernard is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture capital professional with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as a Partner at Ventech Capital since October 2016, John successfully transitioned from the French VC market to the US landscape after initial success in building an independent team. Prior to this role, John was a Co Managing Partner at 50 Partners from January 2011 to November 2016, contributing to over 45 investments in early-stage ventures. John’s career began at BNP Paribas as an M&A Associate from June 2001 to June 2004, analyzing notable M&A transactions, followed by a position as a Senior Financial Analyst at Ventech from August 2004 to November 2010. Academic credentials include two Master's degrees in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences and Banking and Finance from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
