Anastasios Batilas, PhD, is a chartered geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in geotechnical and seismic design across various sectors, including infrastructure and renewable energy. They currently serve as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Venterra Group, where they manage geotechnical and seismic design for several projects. Anastasios has previously held positions at AtkinsRéalis and EYDAP, and has contributed to academia as a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Patras. They have co-authored over 30 papers and articles in international journals and were honored with the ISSMGE Award for Outstanding Paper in 2017.
