Ed Daniels

Ed Daniels is the Chief Executive Officer of Venterra Group plc, where they oversee strategy and operational delivery for a leading offshore wind services company. They previously held executive roles at Shell, including EC Director, Strategy, Sustainability, and Corporate Relations, responsible for Strategy and Portfolio across Upstream, Integrated Gas, Downstream, and Renewables & Energy Solutions, and for corporate relations. They also served as President/CEO of Shell Catalyst Company and led the Global Base Oil Business at Shell Lubricants, and they were Chairman of Shell UK Limited. They have served on boards and advisory groups, including Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Limited (board member, 2018–2023), CPC Shell Lubricants Company (board member, 2003–2006), and the Imperial College London Department of Chemical Engineering Advisory Board (2013–Present). They hold an Honorary Doctorate from Imperial College London.
