Rob Armstrong

Rob Armstrong is a seasoned software engineering professional currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Lattice since January 2025, focusing on building an HRIS. Concurrently, Rob holds positions as Engineering Consultant and Head of Engineering at Mainstay, where responsibilities include leading technical oversight following the company's spinout from Opendoor. Previously, Rob led engineering for a startup within Opendoor before its transition to Mainstay, and held senior roles at Dropbox, including Director of Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineering Manager, overseeing significant projects such as Dropbox's API infrastructure and Paper & Spaces products. Earlier experience includes a senior role at Mattermark and various positions over more than a decade at DreamWorks Animation. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
