Scott Pendleton

Scott Pendleton currently serves as Vice President at Venti Technologies, overseeing Autonomy algorithm teams focused on Perception, Localization and Mapping, Planning and Control, Systems Engineering, and Remote Operations since May 2022. Previously, Scott held roles as Senior Director of Autonomy and Senior Research Scientist at Motional, overseeing strategic projects in planning algorithms, and was a Senior Research Scientist at nuTonomy. Earlier experiences include engineering positions at GE Aviation, where testing and data analysis contributed to aircraft engine component quality, as well as internships at Northrop Grumman Corporation in mechanical design and manufacturing supply chain roles. Scott earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
