Brian Cumpston is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in application and integration engineering. Currently serving as Director of Application Engineering at Ventiva since July 2024, Brian has previously held significant roles including Director of Integration Engineering at ENOVIX Corporation, and various leadership positions at Bridgelux, Inc., where responsibilities included VP of Product Development and Director of Product Development. Prior to Bridgelux, positions at Switch Lighting and Solyndra showcased expertise in technology development and engineering management. Brian began a career at Osram Opto Semiconductors as a Process Development Manager and held an earlier role as Senior Materials Engineer at Siros Technologies. Educational qualifications include a Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry from Caltech, a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
