Kyle Handfield

Kyle Handfield has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kyle worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Fireball Equipment Ltd, where they specialized in designing fuel and lubrication systems. Kyle also worked as a Project Engineer at Titoma, where they provided electronics product design services. In addition, they served as the Engineering Intern at the City of Edmonton's Advanced Energy Research Facility, focusing on root cause analysis of failures and developing maintenance and engineering changes. Kyle also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Colas Canada Inc., a subsidiary of the Colas Group, a leading road construction company.

Kyle Handfield's entrepreneurial experience includes founding and directing Ventrify Inc., a company that offers collaborative design and prototyping services to help clients bring their products to market. Kyle also founded Scription, an AI-based platform. Kyle's passion for innovation led him to become a founder in the Next 36 - 2020 Cohort, a program that supports young innovators in creating their own startups to contribute to Canada's long-term prosperity. Most recently, they assumed the role of CEO at Affinity Integrated Service & Supply.

Kyle Handfield pursued their education from multiple institutions and obtained various degrees and certifications. Kyle completed their Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta between 2013 and 2017, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. In 2020, they participated in the Trade Accelerator Program offered by the Government of Canada, focusing on International Business, Trade, and Commerce. Additionally, in 2019, Kyle attended ATB X Entrepreneur Accelerator for an Entrepreneurship program. In 2013, they acquired a private pilot's license from the Skywings Aviation Academy. Prior to that, between 2010 and 2013, they completed their French Immersion studies at Paul Kane High School.
