Amy Abbott

Amy Abbott has extensive experience in the events and industry development sector, currently serving as Director of Industry Development at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) since April 2012. Over the years, Amy has held various roles within BVCA, including Director, Events and Head of Events. In addition to contributions at BVCA, Amy is an Advisory Council Member at EMA-UK, a Committee Member at Eventopedia UK Limited, and a Member of MPI UK & Ireland Chapter. Prior to her work at BVCA, Amy was the Head of Events and Awards at The Royal Academy of Engineering from November 2002 to April 2012. Amy Abbott earned a BA (Hons) in Business and Marketing from Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2002.
