Angela Shartrand

Angela Shartrand is a highly experienced professional in research and evaluation, currently serving as a Senior Research and Evaluation Consultant at VentureWell since July 2013. Previously, Angela held the position of Director of Research and Evaluation at VentureWell, leading the organization’s research initiatives and contributing to the senior leadership team. Angela's career includes significant roles such as Research and Evaluation Manager at VentureWell, Consultant positions at Boston College and Wesleyan University, and Adjunct Faculty at Wheelock College. Additionally, Angela worked as a Consultant at Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Family Research Project, where management of applied educational research projects was a key focus. Early career experience includes a research assistant role at the Art and Architecture Thesaurus. Angela holds a PhD in Applied Developmental and Educational Psychology from Boston College, an EdM in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University, and a BA in Psychology from Williams College.
