James Yang

James Yang worked as a Consultant at Ventus Solutions (VES) starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they had a significant career in the US Navy starting in June 2017. In the Navy, they held various roles including Nuclear Submarine Officer, Communications Officer (IT Division Officer), Quality Assurance Officer, Operational Safety Officer, Damage Control Assistant (Auxiliary Mechanical Division Officer), Main Propulsion Assistant (Nuclear Mechanical Division Officer), Torpedo Division Officer, and Nuclear Power Training Pipeline. In these roles, they demonstrated leadership skills, managed teams, ensured the proper handling of classified information, and was involved in the operation, maintenance, and repair of communications and electronic warfare systems. Their Navy career ended in October 2022.

James Yang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
