Chris McLaughlin

Chris McLaughlin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of emergency management, public safety, information technology development, and policy & procedure management. Chris is currently working as a Solutions Engineer at Veoci, where they develop and supports core platform solutions for emergency management, business continuity, and communication. Prior to this, they worked as the Emergency Management Coordinator at Keller ISD, where they led the development of a new emergency management program and managed a large operational budget. Chris also served as the Senior Director of Emergency Management and Institutional Assurance at North Central Texas College, overseeing daily operations and leading strategic and tactical emergency management strategies. Chris has previously held positions as the Director of Emergency Management, Associate Director of Emergency Management, and Assistant Chief of Police at the same institution. Additionally, Chris has experience as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff at Cooke County Sheriff's Office, where they served as a commissioned peace officer in the Patrol and Criminal Investigative Divisions. Throughout their career, Chris has focused on building community partnerships, implementing training programs, and improving emergency response plans.

Chris McLaughlin has a diverse education history. From 2018 to 2022, they attended Vanderbilt University and obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Leadership and Learning in Organizations.
