Sofia Manolarakis

Sofia Manolarakis is a seasoned professional in the field of environmental science with extensive experience in engineering and management roles. Currently serving as Senior Regional Engineer for Value & Sustainability at Veolia since January 2024, Sofia previously held the position of Senior Boswachter Beheer at Staatsbosbeheer from November 2021 to February 2024. Prior to that, Sofia worked as Key Account Manager at SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions from October 2017 to November 2021 and held multiple roles including Area Manager HPG Benelux, Account Manager HPG, and Service Engineer at GE Water & Process Technologies from April 2003 to October 2017. Sofia began the professional journey as a Research Assistant in microbiology at Kiwa from November 1999 to April 2003. Educationally, Sofia holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Wageningen University & Research Centre (1996-1998) and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Inholland University of Applied Sciences (1993-1997).
