Verna Yang

Verna Yang is an experienced professional currently serving as the Deputy General Manager at Waylung Waste Services Limited, a role held since April 2018 at Veolia, focusing on business development, strategy, digital transformation, finance, HR, and administration. Prior to this, Verna was the Senior Business Development Manager for Hong Kong, responsible for the strategic development of water, solid waste, and energy management activities in the region. Verna's previous experience includes roles such as Asia Business Development Manager in the healthcare sector at AstraZeneca and Brand Manager for oncology in Mainland China at Roche. Verna’s academic background includes an MBA in progress from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Master of Science in Sports Medicine from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University, along with an Executive Diploma in Merger and Acquisition from HKU SPACE.
