Farid Akbi

Farid Akbi is a Cyber Security & Compliance Manager with extensive experience in information security and IT audit. They served as the Information Security Manager at Ooredoo Algérie from 2015 to 2018, following roles as an IT Security Engineer and Information Security Senior Specialist. Previously, they worked as a Network and System Administrator at China National Petroleum Corporation and had a role as a Webmaster at SAFEGE. Currently, Farid is the IT Audit & Compliance Manager at VEON since 2018, and they hold a Computer Science Engineer degree from the Institut national d'Informatique, completed in 2005, along with a CEH V8 certification from Kereon.
