İlkin A. is a seasoned cybersecurity professional and the current Director of Cyber Security at VEON. Previously, they held various roles, including Head of Information Security & Cybersecurity Governance at e& enterprise Cloud and Information Security Manager at AccessBank Azerbaijan. With a strong background in UNIX/Linux systems, İlkin has been involved in managing cybersecurity initiatives and infrastructure for several organizations, including DarkMatter Group and Azercell Telecom LLC. They are also the organizer of the AWS user group in Azerbaijan and support local startups in their AWS infrastructure needs. İlkin obtained a Master of Business Administration from Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
