Alex Ma is a seasoned hardware engineer currently employed at Veoneer since May 2016, specializing in the design of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) for automotive OEMs. Prior experience includes a senior systems engineer role at Allegro MicroSystems, where leadership and teamwork led to the development of magnetic sensor ICs, and significant contributions in validation through MATLAB test cases. At Kionix, Ma supported MEMS inertial sensor customers in Asia, collaborating with engineering teams on product specifications. Earlier positions involved engineering roles at Analog Devices, focusing on MEMS-based accelerometers and digital-to-analog converters, as well as a circuit designer internship at Integrated Sensing Systems, developing medical device ASICs. Education includes a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Queen's University.
