Stéphane Lapierre has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Stéphane started their career as an R&D Software Developer at Servo-Robot Inc. in 1999 and remained in that role until 2001. Stéphane then joined Ver-Mac as an R&D Software Developer from 2001 to 2005, and later became the R&D Software Manager from 2005 to 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Consultant at CGI for a brief period. From 2013 to 2016, Stéphane worked as an ITS Architect at Ver-Mac, and then as the Director of Software Development from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Director of IT and software development at Ver-Mac since February 2017. In addition to their roles in the private sector, Stéphane also has experience in the education sector, where they served as a Commissaire représentant les parents at Commission scolaire des Découvreurs from 2011 to 2020. Stéphane is currently serving as the Président du conseil d’administration at Centre de services scolaire des Découvreurs, starting from October 2020.
Stéphane Lapierre attended Université Laval from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1995, they studied Science de la nature at CEGEP Sainte-Foy.
