Babak Kia is a seasoned deep-tech founder and educator with a career that spans over two decades in fields including AI/ML, blockchain, and biotechnology. Currently, Babak serves as Co-Founder and Head of Admissions at Æthos, fostering a global community focused on responsible AI innovation. Simultaneously, Babak holds the position of CEO at Something Bold at the Edge of Computing. Since 2005, Babak has been a Senior Lecturer at Boston University’s College of Engineering, shaping the education of over 2,500 students in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
