Alex Esterkin

Alex Esterkin has more than three decades of work experience, starting as a Senior Scientist at the Ioffe Physical Institute in 1988. Alex then worked as a Senior Scientist at the Joint European Torus and a Programmer at Aestiva Inc. In 1996, they became a Senior Programmer at Hollywood.com and later a Senior Developer at Inc.com. From 2002 to 2004, they were a Senior Java Programmer at Coldwell Banker. Alex then joined Boston.com as a Senior Software Engineer before moving to Amicas Inc., where they worked as a Principal Software Engineer. From 2009 to 2018, they continued their role as a Principal Software Engineer at CA Technologies. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Engineer at Veracode since 2018.

Alex Esterkin obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from the Ioffe Physical Technical Institute, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their M.S. in Computer Science at Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, from 1982 to 1988.
