Robert Layzell is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software architecture and development. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer and Senior Principal Software Architect at Veracode since January 2019, Robert previously held similar senior positions at Hailstone.io and WhoZoo, the latter being a co-founder of the innovative platform that maps organizational relationships. Prior to these roles, Robert was a Senior Principal Software Architect at CA Technologies for over a decade, where contributions included the integration of major DevOps solutions and product consulting. Early in the career, Robert gained experience as a consultant and software engineer at various companies, including Sterling Software and Chorus Software. Educationally, Robert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Kent and a Professional Certificate in Software Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University, along with additional training in user interface design.
