Braxton Smith

Braxton Smith is a seasoned auditor with extensive experience in corporate auditing and financial analysis. Currently serving as Principal Corporate Auditor at Veradigm® since February 2023, Braxton provides consulting and audit assurance while enhancing SOX processes for efficiency. Previous roles include Expert Corporate Auditor and Sr. Corporate Auditor at Allscripts (September 2011 - January 2023), where responsibilities included internal control assessment and operational audits. Prior experience encompasses billing analyst roles, project management in client billing, and administrative support in finance at Northwestern Mutual. Braxton's career began as an Accounting Intern at Astec Underground, after earning a Business Administration degree with a focus in Finance and a minor in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
