Leeann Thomas

LeeAnn Thomas, PMP has a wide range of experience in program management, privacy and security, and process improvement. LeeAnn is currently the Program Director for Privacy and Security at Veradigm, where they oversee key initiatives in this area. Prior to this role, LeeAnn worked at Allscripts for over 15 years, where they held several senior program management positions. In these roles, they partnered with management to provide program control, facilitate cross-functional solutions integration, and manage resources to achieve program scope. LeeAnn also worked as a Platinum Operations Consultant, where they developed and maintained common processes and procedures, evaluated business processes for optimization, and ensured adherence to agreed-upon processes. Before joining Allscripts, LeeAnn held roles at Misys Healthcare Systems and Medic Computer Systems, where they provided support, acted as a client advocate, and managed implementation strategies. LeeAnn began their career at Diskriter Inc. as a Health Information Management Specialist, where they managed databases, implemented marketing strategies, and utilized project management software for consulting projects.

LeeAnn Thomas, PMP obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Health Management Systems from Duquesne University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Pragmatic Marketing - Level 2, and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
