Jorge Tomas is an accomplished Design Engineer with extensive experience spanning several decades in the design industry. Currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at Veranex since June 2022, Jorge has previously held positions as a Design Engineer at Empire Group from June 2019 to June 2022, and as the Owner of Tomas Design Group from May 2004 to June 2019. Earlier in the career, Jorge was the Design Director at Safety 1st / Dorel from 1996 to 2004 and worked as a Designer at Hasbro from 1985 to 1990. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, earned between 1981 and 1985.
