Alison Lake

Alison Lake has significant experience in sales and operations planning. Alison is currently employed at Veranova as a Sales and Operations Planning Manager in Scotland since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Johnson Matthey from 2013 to 2022, where they held various roles including Sales and Operations Planning Manager and Supply Planning Specialist. In these positions, they were responsible for master production scheduling, ensuring optimal execution of plans, and setting manufacturing priorities for two sites. Alison also led operational planning meetings and provided input into daily Kanban. Before joining Johnson Matthey, Alison worked at Halfords as a Planning Assistant for parts, accessories, and clothing. Additionally, they gained research experience at Bridon International Ltd, where they worked on a project focused on reducing lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions in the supply chain. Alison also has customer support experience from their time at Plusnet and completed an industrial work placement at Alublu.

Alison Lake completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography at The University of Sheffield from 2008 to 2011. Alison then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, which was CILT/CIPS accredited, at The University of Sheffield from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, in 2012, Alison studied at Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre, focusing on Optimisation and Decision Support Systems for Supply Chain. Alison also attended Linköping University in 2012, specializing in Project Management, Innovation, and Sustainability.
