Dan Markowitz

Dan Markowitz has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations and engineering. Dan currently holds the position of Vice President and Site Director at Veranova since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Site Director at Veranova from July 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining Veranova, Dan worked at Johnson Matthey, where they held multiple roles over a span of 12 years. Dan'smost recent position at Johnson Matthey was as the Global Business Unit Director from October 2019 to September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Site Director, Manager of Operations, Technical Operations Manager, Site Superintendant, and Process Engineering Manager at Johnson Matthey.

Dan started their career at Johnson Matthey as a Process Engineer in April 2006 and eventually became the Process Engineering Supervisor from September 2008 to March 2010.

Before joining Johnson Matthey, Dan worked at GSK as a Production Technician from 2003 to 2006, and at Noramco, Inc. as a Process Development Engineer from 1999 to 2003.

Dan Markowitz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Biochemical Engineering at Villanova University from 2004 to 2006.
