Don LaFerle

Don LaFerle has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Don began their career at Merck & Co., Inc. in 1989, where they worked as a Sr. Procurement Analyst for seven years. In 1996, they joined Sumitomo Corporation of America as the Vice President of Summit Pharmaceuticals, and they remained in that role for ten years.

In 2006, LaFerle became the President of Sales & Marketing at IRIX Pharmaceuticals, a position they held for six years. Don then joined PCAS America, Inc. in 2012 as the Senior Vice President of Custom Synthesis and PharmaChemicals, where they stayed until 2019.

LaFerle then joined SEQENS in 2019 as the Senior Vice President of Custom Synthesis, until they joined Johnson Matthey in 2020 as the Head of Commercial for the US & Canada. Don held this position for two years before moving on to Veranova in 2022.

At Veranova, LaFerle currently serves as the Commercial Director and will soon transition to the role of Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Don LaFerle completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Michigan State University between the years 1984 to 1987. Don then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management from Rutgers University, which they successfully completed from 1990 to 1994.
