Mark Trampe has more than 30 years of experience in process engineering and development. Mark began their career at Union Carbide in 1989 as a Project Scientist, where they led lab and pilot plant operations and experimental programs for process optimization and scale-up of new products. Mark also played a key role in commercial implementation and start-up. In 2001, they joined The Dow Chemical Company as a Senior Process Research Specialist, where they focused on process research in Water Soluble Polymers businesses. Mark led pilot plant operations and experimental programs for scale-up of new products and process optimization. In 2009, Mark joined FMC Corporation as a Principal Process Development Scientist, where they evaluated and developed new technology through commercialization. Mark led scale-up and optimization programs for new formulation technologies. Currently, Mark is working at Veranova as a Senior Process Engineer, where they manage technology transfer of new pharmaceutical materials for internal and external customers. Mark leads multi-functional teams for the design and implementation of new or improved processes.
Mark Trampe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1984. Mark then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing it in 1987. Following their master's degree, they continued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 1989. Mark Trampe has also received a certification in Six Sigma, although the details of the institution and the year of obtaining it are not provided.
