Vivek Shende

Vivek Shende has over 20 years of work experience. In 2000, they began their career as a Technical Manager at Persistent Systems. In 2010, they moved to IBM as a Chief Programmer in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) group, where they led the engineering for the Tivoli Directory Integrator (IBM Security Directory Integrator) product. In 2015, they joined TIBCO Software Inc. as a Director of Engineering, where they worked as the engineering leader for the TIBCO Complex Events Processing product - Business Events. In 2022, they were appointed Senior Director, Engineering and India Head at Verantos.

Vivek Shende obtained a B.E. in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology between 1996 and 2000. Vivek also holds certifications from Coursera in AI For Everyone (obtained in March 2019) and Machine Learning (obtained in August 2018).
