Ryan Ollos

Ryan Ollos has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and development. Ryan began their career in 2003 as a Physicist at the University of Washington, where they managed clinical and laboratory research studies, engineered hardware, and developed a website and database for capturing data. In 2007, they joined PhysioSonics, Inc. as a Senior Software and Systems Engineer, becoming the lead software and systems engineer and leading the team through all phases of product development. In 2012, they became a Software Engineer at WANdisco, developing and managing the Apache Bloodhound project. That same year, they also became a Software Engineering Consultant at Kona Medical, Inc., architecting and implementing the ultrasound acquisition and therapy subsystem. In 2014, they started Ryan J Ollos, LLC, providing freelance software engineering services with experience in medical device development and web application development. Ryan is a core committer on several open source projects and has extensive experience developing with Python, as well as C# and C/C++. In 2015, they joined Verasonics\u00ae as a Senior Software Engineer.

Ryan Ollos attended the University of Washington from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
