MacKenzie Spence

Mackenzie Spence is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Verathon since February 2022. Previously, Mackenzie served as a Design Engineer, EIT at FUEL Biomedical Inc from September 2020 to October 2021, and worked as a Teaching Assistant at Queen's University for an undergraduate course in early 2020. In addition to engineering roles, contributions include developing a leg support system for limited mobility patients with the Queen's Biomedical Innovation Team and managing various outreach programs for Prep101. Mackenzie held leadership positions including Vice President of the Women in Science and Engineering Chapter at Queen's University and has experience creating educational content for introductory mechanical engineering courses. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University, obtained between 2015 and 2020, along with a high school diploma from William Aberhart High School.
