Colin Busby

Colin Busby has over 15 years of work experience in the field of web development and software engineering. Colin is currently serving as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at VERB Interactive since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Development Manager at Swarmio Media from June 2021 to June 2022.

Colin has a long history with VERB Interactive, where they held various roles including Director of CMS Development from December 2020 to May 2021, Development Manager from January 2019 to December 2020, and Lead Developer from September 2016 to December 2018.

Before joining VERB Interactive, Colin worked as the Web Development Team Lead at MODE.Digital from April 2015 to September 2016. Colin also served as a Web Developer at ISL web marketing and development from September 2012 to March 2015.

In addition, Colin has experience as a Technical Director at Stitch Media from April 2010 to August 2012, and as a Web Developer at St. Francis Xavier University from October 2008 to April 2010. Colin'scareer began at Tantramar Interactive Inc., where they worked as a Web Developer from January 2005 to October 2008.

Throughout their career, Colin has demonstrated their expertise in web development, content management systems (CMS), and leadership roles. Colin has a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, and has worked with various technologies such as Drupal, Wordpress, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Colin Busby completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Mount Allison University from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce at Dalhousie University.
