Bryony Brooks has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Bryony started their career as a Front End Monitor, Cashier, and Customer Service representative at Weis Markets in 2007, where they also handled responsibilities in the Cash Office. In 2010, they served as a Spanish/French/German Tutor and Language Lab Monitor at York College of Pennsylvania.

In 2014, Bryony joined BuffTutor Network as a Spanish Tutor and continued in that role until December 2016. During their time at the University of Colorado Boulder, they held multiple positions, including Mailroom Student Assistant, Serials Receiving Student Assistant, Athletic Department Tutoring Program participant, and ASAP Language Tutor Mentor for Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Their tenure lasted from 2014 to 2017.

From 2015 to 2019, Bryony worked as a Waitress/Hostess at Harpo's Bar & Grill for a brief period. Bryony then joined Mullen Books in 2017 as a Data Entry Specialist until June 2019.

In 2018, Bryony assumed the role of Project Manager at the Innocence Project, assigned by Robert Leonard Associates. In this capacity, they led a team of interns and used linguistic analysis in the defense of a client. Bryony also worked as a Legal Transcriptionist at Verbit.ai starting in November 2018.

Currently, Bryony Brooks holds the position of Consulting Forensic Linguist at Robert Leonard Associates, a role they have been engaged in since January 2019.

Bryony Brooks has a strong educational background in linguistics and Spanish. Bryony obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in French from York College of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they participated in a study-abroad program at the Cemanahuac Educational Community in Cuernavaca and Buena Vista, Mexico, earning credits towards their degree at York College of Pennsylvania. Bryony then pursued their Master of Arts degree in Linguistics at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2014 to 2017. Finally, in 2017 to 2018, they attended Hofstra University and obtained a Master of Arts in Forensic Linguistics.
