Tim Caswell

Tim Caswell has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Tim is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Vercel since May 2021. Prior to that, from January 2021 to May 2021, they worked as a Principal Embedded Software Engineer and Principal Architect at Magic Leap. Before joining Magic Leap, they were the Owner of Creationix from December 2012 to July 2018. Tim also has experience working as a Principal Developer at Kubos Corporation from February 2018 to May 2018. Additionally, they served as the Director of Engineering at Daplie, Inc from April 2017 to February 2018. Tim has also worked at Rackspace as a Software Developer V from August 2014 to April 2017 and at Cloud9 IDE as a NodeJS Community Manager from November 2011 to December 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Palm from November 2010 to November 2011 and at Sencha Inc from June 2010 to November 2010. Tim started their career as a JavaScript Consultant at New York University from January 2010 to June 2010.

Tim Caswell has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas (2006-2010). Tim also attended Texarkana College (2005-2006) with a focus on Math and Science. Tim has a Pre-Engineering degree from Southern Arkansas University (2004) with a concentration in Physics and Chemistry. In addition, they studied Computer Science at the University of Central Arkansas (2000-2001) with a focus on Programming and General Education. Tim has obtained a certification in "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues" from LinkedIn.
