Zhen Sun

Zhen Sun has worked in the engineering field for over a decade. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Process Engineer for Verdagy. From 2011 to 2019, they worked as a Research Engineer for Membrane Technology and Research, Inc. From 2019 to the present, they have worked as a Process Control and Commissioning Engineer for the same company. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing process control documentation and execution for both commercial and research projects, supervising sub vendors, reviewing specifications, obtaining quotes, reviewing PLC drawings, conducting factory acceptance tests and troubleshooting PLC/DCS equipment in the field. Zhen has commissioned over 10 commercial and pilot systems to date in the Natural Gas, Refinery and Petrochem business area.

Zhen Sun attended UC Irvine from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a dual degree in Chemical Engineering and Material Engineering, with a focus in Chemical Engineering.
