Leo Chen

Leo Chen has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Leo is currently the Director of US Operations at Engineered Arts Ltd, where they are leading the company's expansion into the United States by establishing HQ operations and R&D.

Prior to that, Leo was a Technical Advisor and Director of Electrical Engineering at Verdant Robotics, where they played a key role in building robots to help farmers grow specialty crops in a sustainable and profitable manner. Leo also led the EE team and successfully closed a $46.5 million series A funding round.

Leo has also worked as a Hardware Engineer at Loon, where they managed balloon launching robots and handled vendor management. Leo held a similar role at X, the moonshot factory, contributing their hardware engineering skills.

Furthermore, Leo has experience as a Hardware Engineer at Lioness Health, where they designed biometric testing rig, wrote firmware, and drivers for data collection. At Google, they worked on an unannounced internet access project before transferring to Google X.

In addition, Leo has a background in Applications Engineering and was the Lead Engineer on the Linduino project at Linear Technology. Leo selected and managed Linduino projects to showcase LTC products and capabilities.

Before all of this, Leo served as a Lab Supervisor at Berkeley ESG.
