Daniel Yu

Daniel Yu is a software backend engineer at Verdigris. Daniel previously worked as a software engineer at ASML from December 2014 to November 2019. At ASML, they were responsible for developing the YieldStar software platform and leading a junior team to design a software framework for 3rd party SW integration. Daniel also performed requirement/design/test tasks, designed and implemented unit tests, and performed code review. Daniel Yu is skilled in managing software delivery with Git, Jira, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.

Daniel Yu received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. Daniel then went on to complete a Master's degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from the same school. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer and Communication Engineering from National Cheng Kung University. In addition to their academic degrees, Daniel Yu also holds a certification from Kepner-Tregoe in Problem Solving and Decision Making.

They work with Jason Goldman - Product Team Manager, Dylan Gregersen - Senior Data Scientist, and Andrew Jo - Fullstack Engineer. Their manager is Jonathan Chu, CTO.
