Mark Woolbright

Mark Woolbright has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of green building products and innovation. Mark began their career in 1992 by founding St. Louis Retaining Wall Company, where they successfully created and marketed a patented concrete "living" retaining wall product. During their time at St. Louis Retaining Wall Company, Mark was awarded 7 patents for proprietary products and manufacturing methods.

In 2011, Mark became the Managing Member of The Living Wall Company, LLC, a company focused on delivering complete turn-key packages for niche living wall systems. This role allowed him to establish a leadership position in the emerging market for green building products.

In 2014, Mark joined Filtrexx International as the Division Manager for Filtrexx LivingWalls. Mark was tasked with leveraging core Filtrexx technology to expand into green, living, and vertical applications. Under their leadership, the division yielded 4 new patent applications in 18 months.

From 2014 to 2018, Mark also served as the V.P. and LivingWall Division Manager at Filtrexx International. In this role, they were responsible for the revenue and market growth of Filtrexx's newly established division in St. Louis.

In 2005, Mark founded Greenwall Ventures, LLC, which specializes in off-site innovation, living wall consulting, and product creation. The company has been recently re-activated after Mark's departure from Filtrexx International. Greenwall Ventures has successfully expanded target markets, product lines, and revenue through consulting assignments and the development of new intellectual property assets.

Most recently, Mark is serving as the CEO, Inventor, and Founder of Verdtech, Inc., a company focused on innovative solutions for the green building industry.

Mark Woolbright attended Eastern Illinois University from 1982 to 1987, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Zoology.
